01 / Engineering

Designed right,
before we build.

Our in-house licensed engineers handle every aspect of EV charging design, from initial load studies through permit-ready construction documents.

We hold dozens of Professional Engineering licenses across the continental United States, allowing us to stamp and seal A&E documents in-house. No waiting on third-party engineers, no communication gaps, no hand-off delays.

Accurate designs from the start simplify construction, reduce change orders, and protect your schedule.

PE Dozens of Professional Engineering licenses. Every deliverable stamped and sealed in-house.
EV Charging Engineering
Full electrical design for Level 2 and DCFC installations. Load studies, single-line diagrams, and panel schedules sealed in-house.
Site Design & Layout
Civil and architectural site plans optimized for traffic flow, ADA compliance, and charger accessibility.
Charger/EVSE Specification
Vendor-agnostic equipment specification based on site demand, client network requirements, and utility constraints.
Utility Coordination & Interconnection
Direct utility coordination from initial service request through engineering approval and meter set.
Underground Planning
Conduit routing, pull box layout, and underground electrical design: planned to minimize cost and field rework.
Site Surveying
On-the-ground site surveys to verify existing conditions before design begins. No surprises in the field.
02 / Permitting

We navigate
the red tape.

AHJ navigation, utility interconnect applications, and environmental review: handled in parallel by people who do this 200+ times a year.

Licensed as both General Contractor and Electrical Contractor in over 250 jurisdictions, Concordia knows every local authority's quirks, timelines, and submittal requirements. We get permits pulled faster because we've done it before, everywhere.

We manage the entire permitting process in parallel with engineering and procurement, so nothing waits unnecessarily on a stamp or a signature.

250+ jurisdictions where we hold active GC and EC licenses
Complete Permitting Documentation
All submittals, plan sets, and application packages prepared and submitted for AHJ review.
Right-of-Way Permit Acquisition
ROW permits, encroachment permits, and traffic control plans coordinated with local authorities.
Licensed Expeditor Support
Where available, we deploy licensed permit expeditors to accelerate local approval timelines.
Easement Negotiation Assistance
Support for utility and access easements required for charging installations on shared or complex parcels.
Environmental Permitting Services
NEPA, stormwater, and environmental compliance documentation for sites requiring environmental review.
03 / Procurement

Equipment sourced,
staged, delivered.

EVSE, switchgear, transformers, conduit, bollards: sourced, staged, and tracked. Vendor-agnostic and supply-chain savvy.

Long-lead equipment is the number-one schedule risk on EV charging projects. We identify critical-path items early, place orders in advance, and track every SKU from PO to site.

Our network of OEM relationships and distributor partnerships means better lead times and better pricing, passed through to your project.

EVSE Equipment Sourcing
Vendor-agnostic procurement across all major manufacturers.
ABB Tritium BTC Power Blink ChargePoint Eaton
Electrical Equipment & Switchgear
Transformers, switchgear, panelboards, and distribution equipment: specified, sourced, and delivered to site.
Long-Lead Item Tracking & Management
Proactive tracking of every long-lead item with weekly status updates and escalation protocols when timelines slip.
OEM and Vendor Coordination
Direct OEM relationships for warranty support, technical support, and factory acceptance testing.
04 / Construction

We put it
in the ground.

Self-perform field crews across North America. Trenching, foundations, electrical, commissioning: all in-house.

We self-perform because we care about quality. When our crews build it, our engineers designed it, and our PMs scheduled it, every team member owns the outcome. That accountability runs from the first shovel to the final commissioning report.

Our 200+ field professionals carry OSHA certifications, NFPA 70E training, and state-specific electrical licenses. Safety is not a checkbox; it's how we operate every day.

Site Work & Trenching
Directional boring, open-cut trenching, conduit installation, and backfill to specification.
Concrete & Foundations
Charger pads, bollards, transformer pads, and equipment foundations: placed and finished to spec.
Electrical Installation
Service entrance, distribution, EVSE wiring, and all associated electrical work: from the meter to the plug.
Commissioning & Turnover
Full commissioning, system testing, AHJ final inspection coordination, and as-built documentation.
Why it matters

One team.
One outcome.

Most EV charging contractors manage subcontractors. We don't. Every crew on every site is Concordia.

No finger-pointing when something goes wrong. No markup on top of markup. No sub who hasn't read the engineer's intent. One accountable partner from site selection through energization.
